Dr Leong Horn Kee

    Dr Leong is currently the Founder and Chairman of Austin International Management School, (AIMS). He is very passionate in the education sector. He is also the chairman/director and major shareholder of three private schools, ie AIMS, 3dsense Media School and Orita Sinclair School of Design, New Media and the Arts.

    Dr Leong is currently Singapore’s Non-Resident High Commissioner to Cyprus. He was Singapore’s Non-resident Ambassador to Mexico for 6 years. He was a Member of Parliament for 22 years from 1984 to 2006.

    After returning from a Colombo Plan scholarship in England, Dr Leong joined the prestigious Government Administrative Service, serving as a Director of Domestic Trade, and Deputy Director (Economic Planning) in the Ministries of Trade & Industry and the Ministry of Finance. Subsequently, Dr Leong established a wide career in the private business sector in venture capital investments, merchant banking and corporate finance, property development, hotel management, and food & beverage.

    Dr Leong has served and is serving on the boards of several listed companies and private companies.

    Dr Leong holds 3 degrees in Production Engineering, Economics and Chinese Language; an MBA from INSEAD, an MBR and a Doctorate of Business Administration (DBA) from University of Western Australia (UWA).
